Putting your feet First

We all know “prevention is better than cure”. As a Foot Health Practitioner I am trained to assess and treat common foot conditions e.g. corns, calluses, ingrowing toe nails, fungal infections and verrucas. With early attention to common foot problems and by establishing a foot health care routine I can help you maintain your foundation for life. I work from clinics in Bradford-on-Avon, Devizes, Corsham and Blagdon as well as offering home visits in the Bristol and North Somerset areas including Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Portishead and Nailsea.

 Good Foot Health

Foot health has come a long way from simply “cutting nails”. It covers a myriad of lower limb conditions including corns, ingrowing nails, infections, verrucae and many other foot problems.

As life expectancy increases, many more elderly people find themselves needing help with their foot care, painful feet can lead to a reluctance to mobilise in the elderly, which can cause added medical problems and isolation if they feel that they cannot venture out. Foot health is not just the realm of the elderly, the explosion of road running has led to a huge increase in the development and demand for the services of foot health practitioners.

 Accreditations

As a Foot Health Practitioner I am on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. The AVR scheme was set up by the Government to Improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public. Accreditation demonstrates my commitment to high professional standards, to enhancing safety and delivering a better service.

So whether your need your nails trimmed, corns dealt with, callus (hard skin) removed, fungal nails treated or just want some foot care advice, look no further.
